Research & Reference Library:
Quincy Historical Society’s library is a major resource for information on local and area history. The library houses books, pamphlets, manuscripts, images, maps, audio and moving-image recordings. Many of these are rare or unique items.
The library covers the full range of Quincy history. Among collections of particular interest are Adams family ephemera, the Quincy granite industry, Quincy shipbuilding, and genealogy.
The library is open to the public. The collection is non-circulating. The library is open Mondays and Wednesdays from
9 to noon.
